ArrestedOn Sunday July 12th at approximately 10:00 A.M. Marshall County Sheriff’s Deputy Bragg responded to a mobile home within the Gatewood Mobile Home Park located at 2403 Michigan Road in reference to a report of a verbal domestic occurring at the residence. During the course of the investigation a male of the residence identified as 31 year old, Joseph K. Rightsell of Plymouth was overheard making threats against the life of another person also at the residence. Rightsell was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was held on the charge of Intimidation – Threat to Commit Forcible Felony with bond set at $1,505.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
