Pack a Backpack 03As we learn a new normal with precautions and guidelines due to Covid-19 the Plymouth FOP Lodge 195 continues to help the Marshall County Community and School Corporations.
As of Thursday morning, Four area Schools have been able receive much needed supplies for their students.
FOP Lodge 195 has been privileged to have Pioneer Seed Employees who will be collecting supplies in conjunction with Pioneer Seed.
At the distribution center of FOP Lodge 195 Board Members Plymouth Police Officer’s Bridget Hite and Bob DeLee, Indiana State Police Officer Lori Lemler and President Hurshel Hunter were all in attendance.
Also in attendance was Julie Sanders representing Country Auto Center who spoke about an event they are holding during the month of July where any new or used vehicle that is purchased during the month of July $30 will be donated to FOP Lodge 195 for the Pack-A-Backpack.
Hunter touched base on fundraising and stated that they will hold the “Shop with a Cop” this year however it may be different this year with the economy taking a hit from the coronavirus. Hunter emphasized the importance of giving locally.
For anyone wanting to donate essential items needed they may drop donations off at WTCA Radio Station. Essential items needed are as follows: Pencils, Pencil Boxes, Crayons and individual Hand Sanitizers.
