The Elkhart County Health Department has issued a mandate requiring every individual to wear a face-covering over their nose and mouth when they are unable to maintain six feet of social distancing. The restrictions will begin on Tuesday, June 30, 2020.
The health department in Elkhart County issued the mandate as they continue to experience a surge in new COVID-19 cases. All businesses and employers in Elkhart County must amend their COVID-19 continued operations plan to require all employees and visitors to wear face coverings following the order.
The order will remain in effect until rescinded by the Elkhart County Health Department.
