On Saturday, June 20th at 10:57 P.M. Marshall County dispatch received a call from a subject stating that a male and female were in a physical altercation on King Road north of US 30 .Deputy Wozniak arrived on the 9,000 block of King Road and located a female victim that was visibly upset and injured. After further investigation, the victim`s boyfriend identified as 20 year old, Deonte M. Brown of Plymouth was found to be the offender and was taken into custody. Brown was transported to the Marshall County jail and held on the charge of Battery Resulting in Bodily Injury- Other Assaults with bond set at $505.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed.
