On Friday, June 19th at 4:27 A.M. Marshall County Sheriff’s Officer Wozniak initiated a traffic stop on US 31 in the area of 13th Road on a black 2004 Buick passenger car. The driver of the vehicle identified as 38 year old, Sarah M. Sizemore of Claypool. Sizemore was found to be operating a vehicle after a lifetime suspension of her driver`s license. She was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on the charge of Operating a Vehicle After Being Adjudged a Habitual Traffic Offender.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
