2020 has certainly been a crazy year so far! Cancellations, social distancing, closures…we are definitely finding a new “normal”. After consulting the Marshall County Health Officer, the City of Plymouth is excited to announce that the Mayor’s Month of Music will be returning to River Park Square this August! Every Friday in August and the first Friday in September, we will host a free concert at the band shell. This event is a wonderful, family-friendly way to spend Friday evenings this summer.
This year’s line-up will include some local favorites and some new groups.
August 7th The Bishops (PHS All School Reunion Night)
August 14th Echoes of Pompeii
August 21st Autumn Leed and the River City Band
August 28th PS Dump Your Boyfriend
September 4th Treated and Released
The Marshall County Relay for Life teams will be selling concessions for the event. There will be a variety of Food Trucks available with yummy food for purchase. Attendees can feel free to bring a cooler with a picnic and the beverages of their choice.
With this being one of the first events of the Summer, we foresee larger than normal crowds at the concerts. We would like everyone to be aware of their surroundings and try to maintain a safe distance from other attendees.
If your business would be interested in being a sponsor for this event, please call the Mayor’s Office at 574-936-6717.
