Bikers along with Plymouth Police, Fire and EMS answered the call to fulfill a 14 year old boy’s wish Sunday after noon.
The call went out on social media that Ben with Down Syndrome who lives in Plymouth was turning 14 years old on Monday, June 15th and wanted to see and touch motorcycles for his birthday. It was nothing short of amazing to see surrounding area bikers fill the Old K-Mart parking lot in Plymouth in anticipation to make Ben’s wish come true.
Close to 150 bikes from all over the area along with participants in their big trucks and jeeps filled the parking lot.
Kick Stands went up at noon as the endless line of bikes was led by Plymouth Fire Department and EMS with Plymouth Police Department stopping traffic and keeping all participants safe on the route to Ben’s house.
Bikes lined both sides of the streets in front of Ben’s home where he was presented with gifts and cards and the smile across his face was priceless and a confirmed sign that his wish had come true.
