DUIOn Friday, May 15th at 12:07 AM, Marshall County Officer Wozniak initiated a traffic stop in the parking lot of Autozone in Plymouth on a red 1997 Ford F250. The driver of the vehicle identified as 31 year old, Justin L. Gibbs of Bristol was found to be operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol and with a suspended driver`s license. Gibbs was taken to Plymouth Hospital for a certified blood draw and was found to be two times the legal limit of alcohol. Justin was also found to be in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. He was transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on charges of Operating a Vehicle with a BAC of .15 or more, Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated Endangering, Possession of Marijuana and Driving While Suspended with a Prior charge. Mr.Gibbs was held on no bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
