Although Miller’s Assisted Living is still observing the lockdown guidelines of the CDC and the ISHD the staff did their BEST to make Mother’s Day as enjoyable for the residents as possible. Marketing Director Anna Corbett arranged for family members and their loved one to be able to talk face to face via Google Duo on the company tablet. The Dietary department prepared and served a lovely meal of either Chicken or Shrimp Alfredo and much more. The Activity Department provided fresh carnation for each lady’s luncheon tray. The residents were also treated to a Quentin Flagg YouTube Mother’s Day Concert designed especially for the Miller’s residents. In observing the ten person meeting limit and 6 foot social distancing the online concert was shown multiple times so all residents could enjoy it. Throughout the day many family members visited the campus to wave to their loved ones through their windows. Although volunteers cannot come in the facility they did drop off Hershey Bars for each lady in a specially made Mother’s Day wrapper.
