Miller's Senior Living logoCelebrating Easter was a bit different for everyone this year as we are all under the quarantine orders from our President and Governors. One of the major things that people have been missing the past couple months is being able to worship as they are accustomed.

As Activity Director a part of Cindy Flagg’s job description says that she will “assist all residents in developing physical, social, spiritual and educational growth”. And she takes that seriously. Since no one is coming in to the facility and the residents cannot go out; Flagg who is a Certified Lay Speaker though the United Methodist Church prepared an Easter Sunday Church service for the residents.

Also helping with the service was resident and pianist Joan Troup. Flagg presented a message of hope using the Scripture from Matthew 28:1-7. Songs sung during the service were “Up From The Grave He Arose” and “Christ Arose”.
