The Marshall County Highway Department has started its 2020 road program.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic this has forced the highway department to make some modifications to work procedures.
Moving forward after discussing the modification and new procedures with the Department, the highway is
starting the reclaiming of roads for the 2020 road program.
During the reclaiming process road closures will be necessary.
This week and next crews will be working on:
1.Lincolnway west of Donaldson.
2. 7b -Oak to Pine
3. Pine – RR to 7th
4.7th- Oak to Queen
5. Pine-North of 7th
6. Co. Line -9b to 12b
If you travel these sections of roads, drive with caution, and expect road closures.
Crews will also be performing: general maintenance on roads patching and grading, drainage maintenance cleaning tile, jetting culverts and tile, equipment maintenance prepping and repairing equipment.
The Marshall County Highway would also like to express its appreciate to (ALL) the Health care providers and essential work force who have put themselves out there on the front line for this Pandemic to serve their communities .
To serve in this much needed time to do all they can to insure the health and safety of the residents in their communities.
