On Sunday, March 22nd at approximately 2:00 A.M. Deputy Bennett with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department conducted a traffic stop on 26 year old, Joshua G. Wigfall of Benton Harbor in the area of US 31 and Plymouth Goshen Trail.
During the course of the traffic stop suspected drugs were located and Mr. Wigfall was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance. He was transported to St. Joseph Regional Hospital for a certified test and was later taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail. Wigfall was held on charges of Possession of Marijuana, Operating a Vehicle while Intoxicated-Endangering a Person and Operating a Vehicle with a Controlled Substance. He was held on no bond.

They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
