Culver Water towerThe Culver Town Council met Friday, March 13th to review and update town policies and procedures during the current public health concern related to COVID-19 and adopted a town Infectious Disease Outbreak and Response Plan, available online here:

As a result, effective Monday, March 23, in person payment for utilities accounts will not be accepted at the payment window at town hall, 200 E Washington Street. Residents are encouraged to set up automatic withdrawal payments by emailing Karen Heim at kheim@townofculver.org, making a one time payment online at www.paygov.us , by mail to 200 E Washington Street, Culver, or by using the utilities drop box, located in the police lobby. If you need to make special arrangements, or need assistance with any of these processes, please contact town hall at 842-3140 in advance.

Town Hall will continue to be open at this time, but we ask that the public use phone or email communications as much as possible to conduct town business. Public meetings of the town council, planning commission, board of zoning appeals, and redevelopment commission will continue as scheduled at this time. Town council will agenda critical operations and public safety related items only for the council meetings on March 24th and April 14th. Recordings of the council meetings will be available within 48 hours by emailing kheim@townofculver.org. All non-essential town and park events scheduled through April 4th are cancelled at this time.

Town officials will continue to work with other community health stakeholders in our area to determine best policies for the safety of our community over the coming days and weeks and will review and update policies as necessary.

We encourage all residents to stay safe and follow the guidelines set forth by the Center for Disease Control (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/summary.html)and the Indiana State Department of Health (https://www.in.gov/isdh/28470.htm).
