County snow plowMarshall County Highway Superintendent Jason Peters said Wednesday afternoon his crews will be on high priority Wednesday night into Thursday morning with the potential for winter weather.

Marshall County has the potential to receive 2 to 4 inches of snow overnight and early Thursday morning.

The County Highway Department and Emergency Management Director Clyde Avery will be monitoring the latest forecast models and checking on road conditions and if necessary will call out crews to work tonight.    Due to the forecasted snow, County Highway employees will begin work Thursday morning at 4 a.m. with a full crew.
