Last week members of the Marshall County Board of Health met with Health Officer Dr. Byron Holm for their quarterly meeting.
Dr. Holm told the board he has meet with and interviewed two individuals interested in filling the vacancy of Administrator. Current Administrator Christine Stinson tendered her resignation on January 21st. Stinson’s last day on the job was Friday, January 31st.
The Health Board was also notified that Jacob Baylis, Health Educator/Emergency Preparedness Coordinator had tendered his letter of resignation. His last day will be this Friday, February 7th.
Holm said with nearly half of the staff missing from the Health Department he wants to get the vacancies filled as-soon-as-possible.
During discussion of re-organizing the Health Board it was noted that Sandra Read, who currently serves as Vice-President will be resigning her position soon because she will be relocating to another state with her husband. The board will re-organize at their next meeting.
