The Marshall County Board of Health will be searching for a new administrator.
Christine Stinson, the current administrator of the Marshall County Health Department has tendered her resignation effective this Friday, January 31st.
Stinson told WTCA, “I have enjoyed working for Marshall County. I will take with me only positive memories. I am very proud of the programs we have brought to the county while I have been here. We have expanded the Nursing programs as well. While, some of the changes that were made caused some discomfort, it was much needed advancement of programming. The hard part is done, it is now just keeping the ship on track.”
Stinson has been with the Marshall County Health Department since October 2016. She has taken a position with the Wayne County Health Department and said this move will put her closer to her family.
