Gov Eric HolcombGovernor Eric Holcomb closed out 2019 in a record-setting financial position, with a total of $7.25 million cash-on-hand. This is a historic figure that surpasses any previous governor’s cash-on-hand heading into their re-election year.

His campaign account, combined with the accounts of Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch and the Indiana Republican Party, ended the year with $8.61 million cash-on-hand. This combined total is also record-setting, topping the historical combined totals at this point in the gubernatorial cycle.

“Hoosiers are donating their time, talent and resources to help Governor Holcomb and Lt. Governor Crouch get reelected in November, and this new fundraising record demonstrates the strength of our campaign and the enthusiasm for the Republican ticket,” said Kyle Hupfer, Eric Holcomb for Indiana campaign manager. “With these record-breaking fundraising numbers, it’s clear that Hoosiers want the Holcomb-Crouch team to keep Putting People First for the next four years.”

The combined total surpasses the previously-reported 2019 cash-on-hand total of $8.25 million. It includes the Indiana Republican Party cash-on-hand, which ended the year with $1.04 million in the bank, and Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch’s cash-on-hand, who posted a total of $316,570 at the end of 2019.

This record-setting news comes as Governor Holcomb’s campaign last week filed more than 9,000 petition signatures from Hoosiers in each of Indiana’s 92 counties. More than 500 signatures in each of Indiana’s nine congressional districts have now been certified, which will earn Governor Holcomb a place on the 2020 gubernatorial ballot. These 9,000 signatures were collected by October 2019 – faster than other Indiana presidential, gubernatorial or senatorial campaign in recent history.

“Governor Holcomb continues to break records,” said Hupfer. “Whether he’s driving bold policies that are improving Hoosiers’ lives, surpassing fundraising records or collecting ballot petition signatures in record time, the Holcomb-Crouch team keeps making history. It’s easy to draw a clear conclusion from this trend – Hoosiers want four more years of Governor Holcomb.”
