School bus crash logoPlymouth Police responded to an accident after school on Thursday, December 19th involving a Plymouth Community School Corporation bus.  The accident occurred on State Road 17.

A Facebook post on the corporation’s website shared that all students on the bus and the driver were uninjured in the incident.  The students were transferred to another bus and safely transported home.

Plymouth Community School Corporation would like to remind all drivers to be aware while driving when buses are on the road and students are walking to and from school.

Officer Smith with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department investigated a two-vehicle accident involving a school bus Thursday afternoon at 3:50.

The Plymouth School Corporation bus was on its regular route Thursday afternoon and had stopped to let children off on State Road 17 north of State Road 8.

The vehicle traveling behind the school bus failed to stop and colliding with the rear of the bus.   The driver, 33-year-old Ronald Guy of Knox was transported to Plymouth Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

No passengers on the school bus were injured.
