Early Sunday morning Plymouth Police Officer Paul Stamper attempted to stop a vehicle just before 4 a.m.
The driver, 25 year old Jared M. Knapp of Plymouth refused to
pull over for a traffic stop. He briefly attempted to elude police before pulling over on Angel St at Charles St.
During the encounter with police Knapp was found to be operating a vehicle while intoxicated. The offense is a felony because of a prior OWI. Jared Knapp was lodged in the Marshall County Jail for felony OWI and Resisting Law Enforcement with a vehicle. He was held on a $1,500 cash bond.
