Indiana State Police are investigating a crash that killed two people in Marshall County Monday morning about 11:30.
The crash happened at U.S., 6 and Miami Trail and caused the road to be closed for several hours so the reconstruction team could conduct an investigation.
The crash happened when the car that was traveling south on Miami Trail failed to stop at the stop sign and ended up under the trailer of a west bound semi. It was estimated that the semi drug the car about 300 feet before being able to stopping.
The two victims, a man and a woman died at the scene. Their names are not being released pending notification of family though the Marshall County Coroner’s office.
Indiana State Police are investigating this fatal crash.
