Wild Rose Moon encourages the development of original productions created by talent from across our region.
The production from Saturday, October 19, 2019, called “Layers,” is an original dance/theater production developed over two months by five women residing in towns from around our county–Argos, Bremen, Culver, and Plymouth. The piece was co-sponsored by Encore Performing Arts and is now available on line.
Marcia Heintzberger directed and danced in the production with Maija Cole. The production features the original music of Cindy Boener and Michele Schricker with the vocal styling’s of Pam Gunterman.
Wild Rose Moon Executive Director George Schricker said, “This is a fine example of what video production can do for the development of the creative arts in our region. It takes “Layers” of work to build up and create such fine performances. This video functions as a record and celebration of the hard work involved. The more our communities attend to such efforts the greater the local art scene develops–bringing excitement, new life, and new commerce to our region.”
