James Fear Arrested for OWI on a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana & Paraphernalia

ArrestedMonday evening, November 18th about 6:30 Officer Arnold with the Plymouth Police Department responded to the report of a wrong way driver on North Michigan Street.

The driver, 57 year old James L. Fear of Plymouth had struck the median in the 2100 block of North Michigan Street.

Fear was arrested and incarcerated at the Marshall County Jail for OWI controlled substance, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.  He was held on a $1,500 cash bond.

 

Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
