More than 30 Marshall County leaders, including a contingent of Bremen High School students, braved the wintery weather Tuesday for the Stellar Regions presentation in Indianapolis.
The one hour presentation covered a wide range of quality of life initiatives and projects in all of the communities in Marshall County.
Launched in 2011, the Indiana Stellar Communities program – now Stellar Regions, is a State multi-agency partnership designed to recognize non-metro regions that identify comprehensive and collaborative plans for quality of life and economic development.
This is Marshall County’s second attempt at Stellar designation.
Announcement of the winning region will be made on December 5th.
