The Plymouth High School Theatre Department is proud to present the Annual Children’s Show this coming weekend. This year’s production is, “The Snow Queen.” The play is by Stacey Lane and is produced through Pioneer Drama Service. The Plymouth High School auditorium stage will come alive for the premiere on Friday, November 1, at 6:30 p.m. The second showing will be a matinee at 2 p.m. on Saturday, then on Saturday evening, a third performance is slated to begin at 6:30 p.m. The last show will begin at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 3. This is the 41st year the Plymouth High School Theatre Department has held an annual Children’s Show performance. The production first began in 1979.
This annual performance involves over 120 students from the Theatre Arts, Acting, and Stage Crew classes at PHS. Because there are so many students involved, the shows are actually divided into a Red and a White cast. The Red Cast performs on Friday, November 1, at 6:30 p.m. and again on Saturday, November 2, at 2 p.m. The White Cast performs on Saturday, November 2, at 6:30 p.m. and again on Sunday, November 3, at 2 p.m.
