MugShot_jon ziolkowskiFriday morning, October 5th, just after midnight, officers from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of a white box truck traveling all over the roadway in the northbound lanes of US 31 in the area of 9A Road.

Officer Bennett located the vehicle on US 31 near Veteran`s Parkway and conducted a traffic stop.

The driver was identified as 30 year old Jon A. Ziolkowski of South Bend.

Drugs including marijuana and an unknown substance along with drug paraphernalia were located in the vehicle.

Ziolkowski was found to be under the influence of drugs and taken to Plymouth Hospital for a certified test. Following the certified chemical test he was lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated Endangering a Person, Possession of Marijuana, and Operating a Vehicle Without Ever Receiving a License.  He was held on a $1,500 cash bond.
