Fatal_Old30_K-County_1A Bourbon man was killed in a two vehicle crash in Kosciusko County Monday afternoon.

The Kosciusko County 911 Communications Center received a call regarding a sport utility vehicle and semi crash on Old Road 30 shortly after 3:00 p.m.   The preliminary results of the investigation, conducted by the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office Fatal Team, indicate that a westbound 2001 Subaru Forester, driven by 60 year old Tony Cormeny of Bourbon went left of center into the path of an eastbound 2019 Peterbilt driven by 44 year old Mark Hott of Kewanna.

Fatal_Old30_K-County_2The Subaru struck the Peterbilt head-on, as Hott was attempting to avoid the collision.

Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Deputies, the Indiana State Police, Atwood Fire Department, Etna Green Fire Department, Lutheran EMS and Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office all assisted at the scene of the fatal accident.
