Plymouth Community SchoolsTuesdays evening the Plymouth School Board passed a resolution to adopt the 2020 Capital Projects Fund Plan.

The board held a public hearing during their September 3rd meeting.  The plan lays out capital projects for the years 2020 to 2022.

The plan calls for projects in all of the corporations buildings.  Menominee Elementary have parking lot and sidewalk repairs, CO2 monitoring upgrades and building automation upgrades and a boiler replacement at a cost of $104,500.

At Jefferson Elementary the plan calls for a roof replacement on the storage building, replacement of carpet throughout the building, drop ceiling replacement and parking lot and sidewalk repairs.  The cost estimate was $99,000.

Lightening upgrades are on the list of projects for Washington Discovery Academy.  They will also have site improvements for drainage and parking, a new roof on the storage building and air-handler rebuilds. The estimated project costs are $265,000.

The project list for Webster Elementary School includes front sidewalk and asphalt replacement and repairs, classroom heating valve replacement, a new AC unit for the media center and various carpet and restroom tile replacement for an estimated $210,000.

Asphalt, parking lot and sidewalk repairs top the list of projects for Riverside Intermediate School.  Also on the list is masonry repairs, carpet and restroom tile replacement and a generator replacement.  Project cost estimates total $122,500.

There are only two projects at Lincoln Junior High, a new storage building and landscaping and irrigation for an estimated cost of $84,000.

Plymouth High School has the largest number of projects, they include parking lot and sidewalk repairs, ceiling tile replacement, replacement of carpet throughout the building, heating unit conversion to DDC, painting in various areas, door and hardware upgrades. Total cost is estimated to be $415,000.

The final item on the Capital Projects Fund is upgrading all building intercom systems for $125,000.
