City HallThe City of Plymouth will conduct their regular meetings Monday evening, September 23rd starting at 6 p.m. with the Board of Public Works and Safety.

Agenda for the meeting includes opening quotes for the demolition of the building at 400 East Jefferson Street.  The board will also awarding the Fall 2019 Street and Sidewalk projects contingent upon additional appropriation approval of the City Council and Department of Local Government Finance.

Members will hear from various department heads, city engineer and attorney.  The Clerk will present requests including the request of Chris Biddle for a dumpster at 1210 North Walnut Street and the request of Mike Stump from the First United Methodist Church for an alley request at 400 North Michigan Street.   In Other Business Rebecca Palmer will update members on the Caring Cupboards.

The City Council will meet at 6:30 and consider on 2nd and 3rd reading an ordinance setting mileage and meal rates for city employees.  They will also consider on 2nd and 3rd reading the 2020 budget ordinance.

Two resolution will be presented to transfer dormant funds.  There is an Aviation Grant Fund that will transfer to the Cum Cap Development Fund and a LARE Grant will transfer to the Park’s Non-Reverting Capital Improvement Fund.

Ken Houin will also have a presentation on the St. Michael’s Lego Robotics Program.

 

The City meetings are open to the public although comments and questions are limited to agenda items only.  Those attending should use the Garro Street entrance and then move to the second floor.
