Crash_PlymouthGoshenTrail_1Marshall County Police are continuing to investigate a crash involving a stolen vehicle.

On Friday, September 13th, just before midnight Marshall County Police, Walkerton Police and EMS and Polk Township Fire were dispatched to the 5,000 block of Plymouth-LaPorte Trail for a single vehicle accident involving a white 2006 Ford Five Hundred.

Arriving on the scene officers found a single female driver identified as Deanna Babcock of North Liberty. She suffered facial injuries and injuries to her back and hip in a crash where she hit a utility pole and a split rail fence.

Babcock was transported to Memorial Hospital in South Bend for her injuries.

Crash_PlymouthGoshenTrail_2Officer Wozniak believes that alcohol was a factor in the crash.

During the police investigation, it was found that the vehicle was reported stolen from the Town of Walkerton. The investigation of this incident is still ongoing.
