City HallThe Plymouth Redevelopment Commission will meet tonight about 5:30 in the Council Chambers of City Hall.

The agenda includes updated on a number of projects in process, under construction or finishing up.

In TIF # 1 City Engineer Rick Gaul will bring members up to speed on the Hoham Drive improvement project and work is beginning on the Pioneer Drive widening and improvement project north of US 30.  Also in TIF # 1 is the Rees Theatre project.

TIF # 2 has no project listed but in TIF # 3 the commission will be updated on the Aquatic Center Project which is scheduled to have an opening in early October.  There will also be an update on Pretzels Inc. addition which is using a unique financing plan through the TIF District.

An update of the River Gate South Development in TIF # 4 is listed along with the unique financing for Winona Building Projects in TIF # 5 and the Centennial Crossing residential project in TIF # 6.

Also on the agenda are continued talks on the Plymouth Fire Chief’s request to use TIF funds to replace a 27 year old fire truck.  Typically this purchase is made through the Cum Cap Development fund but there isn’t enough money to support the cost of replacement.

The Plymouth Redevelopment Commission meeting is open to the public at 5:30 p.m. in the second floor council chambers of city hall.
