The Swing Sisters of South Bend, Gabi and Nancy, took their Miller’s audience on a musical trip down Route 66. The gals programs always build a story around a particular theme and then use songs in the concert that go along with the theme.
September’s theme told about the history of Route 66, aka as “The Mother Road” which opened in 1926.
The concert included such fun songs as Chicago, My Kind of Town”, “I Get My Kicks On Route 66”, “Oklahoma”, “Hit The Road Jack”, and many more. Holding the Route 66 sign, Myron Whittaker poses with The Swing Sisters sporting their Route 66 shirts.
