Friday during Advisory period at Plymouth High School, close to a dozen students gathered in the College and Career GoCenter to meet with Plymouth Police officer Chad Beatty.
Beatty who has served with the Plymouth Police Department for the last 3.5 years talked about what his job entails. Subjects such as arresting individuals who break the law, issuing tickets or warnings and how careers in law enforcement are in high demand and will continue to be for years to come.
The students who attended Friday’s gathering are thinking of pursuing a career in law enforcement or a related field.
Before Beatty joined the Police Department he served in the Indiana National Guard and worked with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Reserves.
