City HallThe City of Plymouth will conduct their regular meetings Monday evening, September 9th beginning at 6 p.m. with the Board of Public Works and Safety meeting.

Agenda for the meeting includes opening bids for the fall Street and Sidewalks projects, a request by Mike Delp for a sidewalk from Lemler Lane to Jackson Heights Road and an request to repair potholes in the public parking lot at West LaPorte Street and Center Street.

City Attorney Sean Surrisi will update the board on the property at 881 Broadway Street.  This apartment building has been vacant for several years and is currently owned by two individuals who have not been able to come to an agreement on what will be done with the property.  The city has put a deadline on the some agreement between the two or the property will be demolished.

The Common Council is scheduled for 6:30 and includes a public hearing on the pre-adoption of the 2020 budget, consideration of an ordinance setting the allowances for mileage and meals and an ordinance setting the tax rate for 2020, commonly known as the budget for next year.

The city council will be asked to pass a resolution in support of the Marshall County Crossroads Stellar Initiation along with a resolution approved a transfer for the Aviation Department.

The City meetings are open to the public and held in the second floor meeting room of the City Building.  Those attending can only speak on agenda items and should use the Garro Street entrance to attend the meeting.
