Motorcycle crashMarshall County Police investigated a single vehicle crash Saturday night just after 10 on State Road 17 at Sycamore Road that sent a Culver man to Memorial Hospital.

At 10:09 the Marshall County Central Dispatch received a 911 call of a motorcycle collision that sent County Police and Plymouth Emergency responders to the scene.

Arriving on the scene Officer Nick Laffoon found a 2008 Harley Davidson Motorcycle that had been traveling west on State Road 17 and failed to negotiate the curve at Sycamore and ran off the roadway.

The driver, 55 year old Paul G. Schwoerer was transported to Memorial Hospital in South Bend for injuries received in the crash.  The news release indicates that alcohol may have been a factor for the crash but the accident is still under investigation.
