County BuildingThe Marshall County Commissioners will meet Tuesday morning at 8:30 in the second floor meeting room of the County Building.  Their agenda has several interesting items including Troy Woodruff from RQAW who will be discussing an agreement with the County to ad a pod on at the Jail and a public hearing at 9 a.m. to consider the request of Marshall County REMC to designate a good portion of the county as an Infrastructure Development Zone, allowing internet providers to not pay personal property tax on infrastructure.

Another item of interest is the letter of acceptance on the Courthouse Clock-tower restoration project.

Also on the Commissioners agenda is Highway Superintendent Jason Peters, County Recorder Janet Howard discussing a scanning project with extended hours for imaging through Fidler/US Imaging.  Sheriff Matt Hassel will seek a pre-payment request for vehicle while Christine Stinson from the County Health department is looking for approval to apply for a grant.  Both the County Attorney and County Auditor will give their reports.

The County Commissioners meeting is open to the public and comments and questions are always welcome.
