On Monday August 19, about 8:30 in the evening, the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department received a call of a personal injury accident at Muckshaw and 12th Roads.
According to the accident report Tanner Miller was driving west bound in a pick-up truck on 12th Road, stopped at the stop sign and proceeded to cross the intersection. Miller did not see a van driven by Matthew Kepler who was south bound on Muckshaw.
Miller hit Kepler’s vehicle broadside on the driver’s side. The impact caused air bags to be deployed and Kepler’s vehicle ended up in the yard on the southwest corner of the intersection.
Matthew Kepler was treated at the scene and no one else was injured. Tanner Miller was cited for Driving While Suspended and Operating a Vehicle Without Financial Responsibility.
