Deputy Brown with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department responded to a two vehicle accident at the railroad on US 31 south of 13th Road Wednesday afternoon, August 14th.
At approximately 12:30 the Marshall County Sheriff`s Department received a 911 call for a two vehicle personal injury crash involving a passenger car and a semi on US 31 at the railroad tracks south of 13th Road.
Kristianne White of Plymouth told Officer Brown she was traveling south on US 31 and didn’t realized the semi was stopped at the railroad tracks. White told the officer she slammed on her brakes to avoid hitting the semi but struck the rear of the semi trailer.
White and a passenger in her vehicle were both transported to Memorial Hospital for treatment of their injuries. The driver of the semi was not injured.
