Tony Stewart 410Tony Stewart’s Ollie’s Bargain Outlet All-Star Circuit of Champions makes their return to the Playground of Power in Plymouth, Ind. this Saturday, Aug 17. This series of 410 winged sprint cars features some of the top names in the sport.

Tony Stewart himself will be in the field along with such household names as Aaron Reutzel, last year’s Plymouth Speedway ASCoC winner, Dale Blaney and Kokomo’s Parker Price-Miller.

The series has been on a couple week break but are anxious to get back after it this weekend starting Friday night at I-96 Speedway in Lake Odessa, Mich. and Saturday night in Plymouth Ind. The series will then head east to Pennsylvania. This will be the last chance this year to catch these drivers in the Hoosier state as the series closes out with dates in Ohio, Pennsylvania and a stop in Maryland.

Currently Reutzel leads the series but is followed only eight points back by Blaney. Stewart currently sits tenth in points with only one win, that happened the July 28 in Iowa. Stewart finished ahead of Rico Abreu and Christopher Bell that evening.

During last year’s visit to Plymouth Speedway Jac Haudenschild put down a blistering lap of 11.250 secs to set quick time. The entire field running within a second of that time during qualifying.

Reutzel won the Dash and went on to win the feature with Haudenschild finishing second and Carson Macedo finishing third.

The gates open at 4 p.m. again this Saturday with Hot Laps and Qualifying starting at 6 p.m. racing will begin at 7 p.m.

There will be UMP Modifieds along with the Thunder Stocks sharing the track with the ASCoC winged Sprints Saturday. Tickets for all the racing action is $25 for Adults, Kids 6 – 12 are $12 and race fans under 5 are free.
