County Police Officer Wozniak attempted to conduct a traffic stop on Saturday, August 3rd, at 9:48 PM on a black 1992 Ford passenger car in the area of US 31 and State Road 10. The vehicle failed to yield and sped off.

A vehicle pursuit was initiated westbound on State Road 10 to the area of Pine Road where the vehicle drove through a yard and around a residence before heading back eastbound on State Road 10.

Argos Police were able to set up stop sticks in the area of State Road 10 and Muckshaw Road and the vehicle`s tires were deflated and it slowly came to a stop.  A female passenger exited the vehicle and the driver attempted to continue driving, but was unsuccessful.

McCoy JR of Tennessee was taken into custody and charges of resisting law enforcement with a vehicle, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, unlawful possession of a syringe, criminal recklessness with a vehicle, reckless driving and driving while suspended.  He was held in the Marshall County Jail on a $4,500 cash bond.  

MugShot_diana campbell 8-3-19The female passenger, 49 year old Diana P. Campbell of Tennessee was charges with assisting a criminal, possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana. She was also held on a $4,500 cash bond.

Marshall County Police were assisted by Argos Police, Culver Police and Lyon`s Towing.
