MugShot_dustin cavinder 8-4-19On Sunday, August 4th, at approximately 1:15 in the morning Marshall County Deputies were requested to respond to the area of US 6 and US 31 in reference to a female walking down the road with visible injuries.

Officer Bennett arrived on scene and made contact with the female subject, identified as Jocelyn Koscher, along with a male subject identified as Dustin Cavinder. Upon investigating the incident it was found that Dustin had been operating a motorcycle with Jocelyn as a passenger when he crashed on US 6 just west of US 31.

Jocelyn Koscher was transported to Memorial Hospital due to her injuries.

Dustin was transported to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth for a chemical test.  After obtaining the blood sample, Dustin Cavinder was arrested and booked into the Marshall County Jail for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated Resulting In Serious Bodily Injury, Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated Endangering A Person, and Operating a Vehicle With a BAC of .08 or More.  He was held on a $1,500 cash bond.
