County BuildingThe Marshall County Commissioners will meet for their first meeting in August at 8:30 Monday morning in their second floor meeting room of the County Building.

The agenda for the meeting includes a report from the County Highway Department and Judge Dean Colvin from Superior Court II.  The judge will discuss the implementation of a fourth court in the County.

The Commissioners will consider a minor subdivision presented by County Plan Director Ty Adley and they will hear a concern of fireworks by Judy Bailey.  Also on the agenda is a request of Tom Bondurant to have access through the Marshall County field and the request of County Treasurer Angie Birchmeier for the purchase of a scanner.

The lengthy commissioner’s agenda also includes representatives from Marshall County REMC with the request for an Infrastructure Development Zone for broadband deployment and the Sheriff will present the 2020 Quality Correction Care contract.

Under Commissioner Items is the letter of acceptance for the courthouse clock-tower restoration project.

The Commissioners meeting is open to the public and comments and questions are always welcome.
