On Monday, July 29th at approximately 8:30pm the Starke County Sheriff’s Office 911 Center received a call of a possible overdose in 7,000 South Block of 100 West in the North Judson area.
Officers arrived on the scene to find Starke County EMT’s providing medical aid to a male subject. Narcan was administered to the male subject and he was transported to Starke Hospital.
A Search Warrant was obtained for the residence and as a result of items found within the residence, 24 year old Tabitha Letson of North Judson was arrested for Possession of Heroin, Possession of a Syringe, Possession of Paraphernalia, Possession of Synthetic Urine and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.
Ms. Leston was transported to the Starke County Justice Center and held with NO BOND pending formal charges from the Starke County Prosecutor’s Office.
Charges are pending on the male subject who was not arrested at the scene due to his medical condition.
All suspects are assumed innocent until proven guilty.
