owi-arrestSunday evening about 9:45, Plymouth Police Officer Tim Taberski initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the Burger King parking lot on North Michigan Street.

During the investigation it was learned the driver, 53 year old Dawn Bryant of Knox had a drivers license status of suspended with a prior.   During the investigation the officer also located open alcohol containers inside the vehicle.

Ms Bryant was transported to the St Joseph Hospital lab for chemical testing and then placed under arrest and transported to the Marshall County Jail for Operating While Intoxicated and Driving While Suspended with a Prior.  She was held on a $1,500 cash bond.

 

Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
