MugShot_Norton ThomasSaturday morning, July 13th, just after midnight, the Marshall County Dispatch Center received the report of a red pickup truck that was driving erratically on U.S. 31 South.

The vehicle was later reported to have taken the exit onto Veteran`s Parkway north of Plymouth.  Sgt. Laffoon arrived in the area of Veterans Parkway east of Michigan Road.   He found the vehicle that had driven into a ditch.

The offender, Thomas Norton, age 36, of ADA, MI failed the field sobriety testing and a certified chemical test. He was lodged in the Marshall County Jail for operating while intoxicated and held on a $1,500 cash bond.
