Pack-A-Backpack_4With almost every school in the Marshall County Area on the balanced calendar schedule, Plymouth F.O.P. Lodge 195 is gearing up for this year’s annual Pack-A-Backpack campaign on August 3rd.

F.O.P. 195 will be collecting school supplies for children in the Argos, Bremen, Culver, LaVille and Triton school districts along with the Plymouth Community Schools.

This year the FOP is not requesting backpacks, they have them already but they are collecting:  ear buds, 16 and 24 packs of crayons, scissors, dry erase markers and glue sticks.  The FOP is requesting NO paper or folders this year as they have enough already distribute.

Last year Plymouth F.O.P. 195 was able to distribute more than 150 backpacks to area schools for families needing assistance and lots of individual school supplies.

Getting kids ready for school is not a cheap venture. Besides paying for books, new clothes and shoes kids still need school supplies. Plymouth F.O.P. Lodge 195 wants all students to go back to school with a new backpack and the school supplies they need.

If you want to help Plymouth F.O.P. 195 you can drop off your donations at the WTCA Studios, 112 West Washington Street in downtown Plymouth.

F.O.P. members and volunteers will be out front of McDonalds in Plymouth from 6 a.m. till 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 3rd and also at Walmart from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. to collect school supplies and donations.

School supplies and backpacks will be distributed to the various school counselors and you should be able to request assistance when registering for school.
