City NEwsThe Candy Lane Storm Sewer Improvement Project is complete and Monday evening the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety approved the substantial completion date of May 29, 2019.

They also approved Change Order # 1 which was an increase of $829.40 for an increase in the unit quantity totals.  Utility Superintendent Donny Davidson said the increase was less than 1% of the total project.  Total cost of the project was $1,070,577.05.

The Board of Works also agreed to release the retainange of $53,487.37 since all punch list items have been completed.  Davidson noted that the project saved $45,000 by doing the project inspections internally instead of hiring a company to complete them.
