Miller's_PIC July 4 Q 1 2019A capacity crowd filled Miller’s Assisted Living on Thursday for their Independence Day Picnic and Quentin Flagg Patriotic Concert.  Residents and guests were treated to a delicious meal of baked chicken, potato salad, pasta salad, a veggie tray and their choice of homemade apple or cherry pie.

Following the meal Quentin Flagg of Knox performed a high-energy concert of 50’s and 60’s music along with a nice selection of Patriotic tunes.  His concert began with THE STAR SPANGLED BANNER.  Former resident and friend Ike Hulls presented the colors using the flag attached to his powered chair.  Flagg took time to honor the Veteran’s in the crowd and also honored the different branches of Armed Forces.  He ended his concert by passing out “poppers” and having everyone set off their poppers during the last song.
