Sam Hicks of LaGrange recently performed at the Miller’s Merry Manor Nursing Facility and the Assisted Living in Plymouth.
Hicks is a well-liked entertainer who plays guitar and banjo and sings country and gospel songs. He allows his audience to make requests and he is always able to please. After his concert he enjoys visiting with residents and often poses for pictures with them.
This time he even generously gave several people souvenir guitar picks that he had used during the concert and told stories of when he was opening act for George Jones at Buck Lake Ranch.
