The Marshall County Sheriff`s Department obtained a complaint of alleged improper communication through Snapchat, between an adult from Walkerton and a 14 year old child on May 10th.
The Marshall County Sheriff`s Department started an investigation and the information found was turned over to the Marshall County Prosecutor`s Office. The Division of Child Services was also contacted and provided assistance in the investigation. A Probable Cause Affidavit was completed and presented to one of the county Judges for review and he issued arrest warrants for two individuals.
The alleged suspect, 39 year old Raymond Grossman of Plymouth was booked into the Marshall County Jail on June 6th for Child Solicitation, a level 5 felony. He is being held in the Marshall County jail on a $25,000 cash bond.
38 year old Heather S. Dare of Walkerton was arrested on June 6th for Neglect of a Dependent, as level 6 felony. She was lodged in the County Jail on a $1,500 cash bond.

They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
