Cemetery Crawl smallThe Marshall County Genealogical Society is hosting the 7th Annual Cemetery Driving Tour on Tuesday, June 18.  The trip will be travel through Green and Walnut Townships stopping at five cemeteries. At each cemetery, there will be a presentation of the history of that final resting place and some of those interred there.

Those in attendance are invited to share a progressive meal furnished by members of the genealogical society. Maps of tour locations are available at the Museum.
The Cemetery Crawl is free and the public is invited to participate. Reservations are not required, but they do help in determining the amount of food to prepare.

A carpool will form at the parking lot west of the Plymouth Public Library at 4:30, leaving at 4:35.  The tour can be joined at anytime and a loose schedule is:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          5:00 p.m. – Gilead Cemetery on Maple Rd, south of 18th Rd;                                                                                                                                                  5:45 p.m. Jordan Cemetery on 19th Rd west of Maple Rd.;                                                                                                                                                      6:30 Stair Cemetery on Linden Rd. north of SR 110,                                                                                                                                                                  7:15 McGrew Cemetery on the corner of Gumwood and 20th Rds.;                                                                                                                                        and the tour will finish up at the Walnut Church of the Brethren at the corner of Gumwood and 19th Roads at 8:00 p.m.

The only restroom break is at Walnut Church of the Brethren. Plan accordingly. Call 574-936-2306 and ask for Karin to leave a reservation.
